Today’s technology allows for communication via many channels. Communications by mobile technology, including text messaging and mobile applications, are becoming a more prevalent in terms of accessibility for HR departments and employees. To research the current landscape of HR communication via mobile devices, HRchitect surveyed respondents across the United States and Canada.

This session will highlight the results of the research survey, unveiling trends in HR communication via mobile technology, including receptiveness of employees to use personal mobile devices for workplace communication and receptiveness of employees to utilizing mobile technology to accomplish specific organizational tasks, and more.

The presenter will suggest creative ways attendees can leverage their knowledge of these trends with their HCM technology including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits, learning and workforce management. The presenter will also review the security issues which may arise from using mobile technology.
