Presented by Sona Manzo, VP, Hitachi Consulting

Sona is an industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience in business transformation with a focus on Human Capital Management initiatives and global program management. A hands-on leader, she has helped Fortune 500 and growing mid-size organizations across all industries strategize, implement and optimize on premise and cloud applications that align people, process and technology with organizational strategy. Sona is responsible for the leading the Hitachi Consulting Oracle HCM Cloud practice and serves as the executive sponsor for internal and customer HCM transformation initiatives. She is passionate about Modern HR and user experience, and works with the Hitachi global team to drive innovation.

Sona’s interest in technology started with a class in programming as a junior in high school. She was the only female in the class! She continued to see the trend of low female participation in technology throughout an after school program at Lockheed, her university program in Computer Science, and particularly in her early years in consulting. She has been a long time champion of women in technology, supporting STEM programs through her longtime involvement as a Girl Scout leader and at local school events. She is a career advisor to women at many levels of their career, and serves as the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Lead for the Hitachi Consulting WIN (Women Interactive Network).

Sona is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events such as Oracle Open World, OHUG, Oracle HCM World, hr.com, the Argyle HR Executive Forum and HRTech.
