Session Description:  Most companies pay additional compensation to employees which need to be taken into consideration when calculating a true overtime rate. Therefore it is necessary to create a process that will enable a company to pay overtime rates in compliance with federal state and local laws which require a Calendar Year-to-Date look back at various rates, bonuses and other forms of compensation paid to an individual employee in order to pay the appropriate rate for overtime worked. During this session you will have the opportunity to discuss the Overtime Blended Calculation Routine, while discussing various rules a company can apply to support compliance initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to discuss how these options can be implemented in conjunction with PeoplSoft Time and Labor. During the session the speaker will also provide you with lessons learned from implementing this functionality and considerations that should be taken in your organization.
