Anyone have a Termination process they are currently using:

We are looking to implement a process that will:

1. Pay an employee while they are in a non-working period (they have been notified their job will be eliminated)
2. Based on receiving a severance agreement back from employee, they will start receiving severance pay
3. They are terminated from Peoplesoft after severance payout.

We have been testing different action/reason codes to accommodate this process but could use some help from anyone that have this experience. We would like this process to be automated rather than manual, if possible.

Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Debra

Debra - have you tried TWP? You can also put them in their own Payroll Paygroup.

Are you using Time & Labor / Absence Mgmt? If you are, you can put them in an automatic TL Workgroup or you can put them in an Absence Paygroup so that they will still process, but not have Benefits or other Compensation.

FYI - you never got back to me via MOSC - so if you want to chat further, please ping me.

David L
