Dear OHUG Members,
In many of my OHUG messages, I emphasize the importance of collaboration and expanding existing networking relationships. OHUG’s mission is to help OHUG members realize the full benefit of investments in people, products, and processes, by offering rich forums for networking, education, knowledge sharing, and directly influencing Oracle’s product direction. I firmly believe that this mission can be further expanded with the use of enhanced technology.
Last year, OHUG began a significant undertaking to invest in the technology infrastructure that forms the backbone of support for our members. Today, I want to update you on a different kind of collaboration that has been going on behind the scenes and is important to the ongoing growth and success of OHUG. OHUG is excited to announce the launch of its new website, www.ohug.org!
The new website development was a strategic effort that will ultimately result in an integrated tool for OHUG members. The new technology will have an enormous impact across the globe; all OHUG members will eventually interface with the new site in some way and in varying degrees. OHUG members will have an opportunity to become familiar with the new site. Whether you are registering for an event, blogging, reviewing conference archive data, or actively participating in an online forum, I am confident that you will find that this enhanced site will meet your needs.
