Expediting the migration from Taleo to Oracle Recruiting Cloud
11:30am to 12:30pm (ET)
Presenter: Bob Sachs, Technology Consulting Manager HCM Practice, Accenture
Companies want an integrated HCM system and by moving to Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), the talent acquisition part is now incorporated. If a company is currently using Taleo, the issue is how to get the data to ORC. While there are similarities, there are also significant differences that an organization must be aware of when moving forward with a project like this.
Re-thinking the way data is captured and used is essential. The move to ORC requires an understanding of the use of tables and relationships between them that is not part of Taleo. This includes the following:
- Demographic data
- Requisition templates
- Active requisitions
- Job submissions
- Foundation data
- User defined data elements (Descriptive Flexfields)
We will discuss the planning, managing and execution of a project to achieve this.
Lunch Break - 12:30pm to 1:00pm (ET)
Finding the “Best Fit” with Oracle Recruiting Cloud and BI Reporting
1:00pm to 2:00pm (ET)
Presenter: David Mansfield, Team Lead/Senior Consultant, ArcLight Consulting
Many companies are benefiting from Oracle’s native “Find Best Fit” functionality for locating top talent within their organization, but few are making this tool their own. Our client’s entire business relies on them being able to staff top quality talent who are the right fit for their customer’s needs. They need to be able to find candidates with current certifications, specific skills and experience and to mobilize them quickly. Join us as we discuss how we are able to help our client leverage Oracle's Talent Profile and Recruiting applications to find, staff and source the best candidates for their customers.
Relevant for: Companies looking to staff ideal talent for both internal and external customers by searching for the skills that matter most to them
- Capturing and reporting on essential skills and qualifications data during the recruiting process
- Using Recruiting Cloud to staff for external customers
- Maintaining a strong talent pipeline and talent pool
- Conforming with compliance standards of internal and external customers in Recruiting and Onboarding
- Succession Planning
Enterprise Onboarding and Checklists
2:00pm to 3:00pm (ET)
Presenters: Brian McIntyre, President, WorkStrategy and Lisa Wells, Project Director, WorkStrategy
Oracle HCM Cloud delivers an Onboarding solution that is part of the Core HR application, designed to work seamlessly with Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Oracle HCM Cloud. This solution provides a fairly seamless user experience that helps guide new hires down a path where they can become engaged, productive and dedicated team members prior to and after their first day of work. Oracle continues to deliver new functionality in each quarterly update and now includes Third Party I9 integration with Hire Right and “Out of the Box” configuration capability for both basic eSignature and DocuSign functionality. This presentation will focus on how to leverage Oracle Enterprise Onboarding Checklists, Tasks, Forms, eSignatures, Workflows and Announcements to enhance the new hire business process for Employees, Managers and Administration staff.
Leveraging RPA, negative testing, and knowing what really helps your project
3:00pm to 4:00pm (ET)
Presenters: Casey Moyer, Managing Partner and Chris Maurio, Managing Principal, NorthPoint Group
Testing takes time and energy from your team, when your time would be better spent verifying if your process makes sense for your organization, or taking advantage of further functionality from Oracle HCM Cloud. NorthPoint Group has RPA regression testing that allows you to know you are fully tested after every quarterly patch, as well as handling all of the unit testing on your project. This allows our team to focus on the "real negative testing". This benefits your organization as we can look at your processes end to end, work with you to make sure there are no gotchas that prevent your ROI, and making sure you get as much from your investment as possible.
