What a week!! There's no easy way to say it - if you weren't at Ascend 2023, you really missed out!! Oracle teams were there in force: Cloud HCM Strategy, HCM Support, E-Business Suite HCM Development, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Consulting, not to mention the ERP Cloud and EBS teams. A few of our best PeopleSoft partners were on hand to deliver some terrific tips and tricks sessions.We heard from so many Oracle Customers and Partners - success stories, stories of caution, how to sessions; and Oracle put on a fantastic Journeys Jam Workshop that was well received.
The Partner Pavilion was a hopping place this year with Solution Showcase and Turbo Talk theaters. This gave our attendees a chance to attend some short and to the point sessions within the exhibit hours that highlighted our partner's solutions as well as targeted sessions on some hot topics. Attendees enjoyed meals and breaks in the company of our partners including the now famous Brew Pub with a sponsored happy hour on Monday and then a Cafe Style breakfast with fancy coffee drinks on Tuesday sponsored by the Oracle Cloud team who handed out custom Ascend 2023/Oracle Cloud T-Shirts. And there were prizes - so many prizes - the Tuesday afternoon prize drawings were a thrill. Many of our partners offered wonderful prizes to quite a few lucky winners.
We topped off our event with an offsite celebration Latin Style - with our own Marc Ramos hosting the traditional Ascend Dance Off. We saw some repeat dancers and some new ones too. It was a blast!
So yes there was a ton of fun, but there was also a ton of educational sessions and many opportunities to meet with Oracle, Expert Partners, and so many Customers. Lots of sharing all around.
